Update: Disney has extended the hours for Earl of Sandwich and the closing date is no longer visible. Scott Gustin confirmed this with Disney and shared this post on X:

Earl of Sandwich's temporary location in Downtown Disney will close this weekend to make way for the construction of Portos.  The OC Register broke the story last month that Earl of Sandwich was laying off 167 employees and later posted it would be closing July 26th.  

Disney has updated the hours on their website for the Earl of Sandwich Tavern location showing that the final day of operation will be Thursday July 24th with Friday July 25th being the closing date.

While the new Earl of Sandwich location is under construction at the west end of Downtown Disney, the temporary trailer across from the ESPN Zone building will still open serving a limited menu. 

There are no dates when construction will start for the new Portos location, but a permit was filed earlier this year which is still in review which calls out the demolition of the former La Brea Bakery location as well as two ticket booths.
