Downtown Disney's food lineup keeps getting bigger. Los Angeles-based Big Boi Lumpia Co. has announced it's bringing its Filipino comfort food to the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort, with Chef Barb Batiste serving up her famous lumpia at "The Happiest Place on Earth."
The brand shared the news across Instagram and TikTok, promising classic savory and sweet flavors paired with its signature dipping sauces. No firm opening date has been set, but in the comments the team said the location is coming very soon.
Big Boi Lumpia Co. is the savory follow-up to Chef Barb Batiste's well-known dessert ventures. After building B Sweet — her catering company, dessert trucks, and dessert bar — Chef Barb turned her focus to Filipino food, the cuisine she grew up cooking alongside her mom, aunt, and grandma. The Big Boi menu features her takes on Filipino classics and childhood favorites.
If the name B Sweet sounds familiar to Downtown Disney regulars, that's because Chef Barb's desserts have been available at the district's Earl of Sandwich since 2024. This new cart marks her first dedicated Big Boi presence at the resort.
The official Downtown Disney menu hasn't been revealed yet, but here's what Big Boi is known for at its other locations.
Lumpia is the headliner — thin, crispy Filipino spring rolls served with dipping sauce, available in both savory and sweet varieties. Beyond lumpia, the brand's regular menu has featured dishes like chicken adobo, pork sisig, housemade Spam, pancit noodles, fresh-baked pan de sal, and the sweet Food-For-The-Gods. The Downtown Disney announcement specifically calls out classic savory and sweet lumpia flavors with signature dipping sauces, so expect the cart to keep things focused and grab-and-go friendly.

Big Boi has confirmed this will be a cart, but an exact spot hasn't been announced. Based on the available kiosk real estate in the district, a likely landing zone would be somewhere along the central walkway near existing snack stands like Cathy's Cookies or Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs. Treat that as an educated guess for now — we'll update this post as soon as Disney or Big Boi confirms the location.

Big Boi isn't the only new cart making news. Happy Ice, Los Angeles' popular Philadelphia-style Italian water ice brand, recently held its grand opening at Downtown Disney. You'll find its cart on the west side of the district, near Parkside Market and Din Tai Fung.
The Downtown Disney location debuted Happy Ice's first fully all-natural menu — water ice made with real fruit and pure cane sugar, with no high-fructose corn syrup or artificial dyes. Look for specialty flavors like Berry Bonanza and Cloud 9, fruit-based sauces, and monthly rotating exclusives.
Big Boi Lumpia Co. is the latest in a wave of new Downtown Disney dining additions. Here's a quick look at what's confirmed so far.
