Universal Studios Hollywood revealed its Halloween Horror Nights 2026 lineup, headlined by a brand-new Evil Dead Burn maze based on the latest film in the franchise. The event returns on select nights from September 3 through November 1, 2026, with houses pulled from SinnersStranger Things 5, and Hellraiser joining the roster.

'Evil Dead Burn' Brings the Deadites to Universal

The headliner is Evil Dead Burn, a new maze based on the latest film in the long-running horror franchise. Guests make their way through a possessed family home while dodging possessed Deadites hell-bent on bloodshed, trading the series’ signature blend of gore and chaos for a walk-through scare.

It is one of four haunted houses confirmed for the 2026 event so far, and the only one tied to a brand-new movie. The franchise’s reputation for over-the-top practical effects makes it a natural fit for a Halloween Horror Nights maze.

'Sinners' Turns a 1930s Juke Joint Into a Vampire Hunt

Set in 1930s Mississippi, the Sinners maze drops guests into a juke joint overrun by vampires led by Remmick. The house is based on the award-winning horror film of the same name, translating its Depression-era setting into a maze full of period detail and bloodthirsty encounters.

'Stranger Things 5' Enters the Final Season

The Stranger Things 5 maze is themed around the show’s final season and sends guests back to Hawkins as the Upside Down invades. Expect face-to-face encounters with Demogorgons, the Mind Flayer, and Vecna as the story reaches its conclusion.

'Hellraiser' Opens the Gates of Hell

Drawing from the original trilogy, the Hellraiser maze guides guests through Hell itself, where they witness Pinhead and the Cenobites’ nightmarish rituals. It brings one of horror’s most iconic villains to the event for a maze built around dread rather than jump scares alone.

Terror Tram, Scare Zones, and More Still to Come

Beyond the four houses, Halloween Horror Nights 2026 will again feature the Terror Tram, along with scare zones, live shows, and themed food and beverages. Universal has said additional details on the scare zones and shows are still to be announced, so the full 2026 slate may grow before opening night.

Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Dates and Tickets

The event runs on select nights from September 3 to November 1, 2026, with each night starting at 7 p.m. A full range of tickets is on sale now, including single-night general admission, 2 p.m. Day/Night tickets, Frequent Fear and Ultimate Fear passes, Universal Express and Express Unlimited, the R.I.P. Universal shared the full lineup on the Discover Universal blog. We’ll update this post as scare zones, shows, and additional houses are confirmed.
