What Your Event Ticket Includes, and What It Does Not

An Oogie Boogie Bash ticket is more than party access. It also covers park admission for the three hours before the party starts, which is where a lot of the value sits.

Included:

  • Park admission from 3:00 PM, three hours before the 6:00 PM party start
  • No theme park reservation required to enter at 3:00 PM or later with an event ticket
  • Disney PhotoPass unlimited digital downloads for photos captured between 6:00 and 11:00 PM
  • Access to all Treat Trails, Villains Grove, character greetings and the Halloween attraction overlays

Not included:

  • Parking is not included
  • Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Premier Pass and Single Pass are all unavailable during the event
  • Food, merchandise and paid add-ons

A few purchase rules worth knowing before you click buy:

  • Tickets must be purchased online and are not sold day-of
  • Limit 8 tickets per guest, per date
  • No discounts, and tickets are nonrefundable
  • Each ticket is valid only for the specific date and hours selected
  • No refunds for changes or cancellations, including inclement weather

Madame Leota's Swinging Wake Is the Only Show During Party Hours

Madame Leota's Swinging Wake, A Haunted Mansion Street Party is the single scheduled show at Disney California Adventure during party hours. On opening night it runs at 8:05 PM and 10:15 PM.

Disney describes it as the street coming alive with spooky music, spirited dancing and ghostly character fun. Showtimes can shift by date, so confirm yours in the Disneyland app the day you go.

Careful: Mickey's Trick and Treat Is Not a Party Show

This one trips people up. Mickey's Trick and Treat at the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land appears inside Disney's Oogie Boogie Bash event guide, with copy encouraging guests to "start the fun before" the party. That framing makes it read like party programming. It is not.

Every showtime falls before the 6:00 PM party start:

  • 10:45 AM
  • 11:45 AM
  • 12:45 PM
  • 2:30 PM
  • 3:30 PM
  • 4:30 PM

With 3:00 PM early entry, an Oogie Boogie Bash ticket only gets you to the 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM shows. The four earlier performances require separate daytime park admission. If seeing this show matters to you, plan around the last two showtimes.

All 11 Treat Trails and the Villains Who Staff Them

There are 11 Treat Trails spread across the park in 2026. Candy handed out includes M&M'S, SKITTLES, SNICKERS and other Halloween favorites.

  • Oogie Boogie: Disney Animation
  • Dr. Doofenshmirtz: inside the Disney Theater
  • Hades: Hollywood Backlot Stage
  • Judge Doom: near Stage 12
  • Ernesto de la Cruz: Hyperion Theater Courtyard
  • Maleficent and Yzma: Grizzly Peak, sharing a single trail
  • Agatha Harkness: Avengers Campus
  • Syndrome: Pixar Pier Bandstand
  • Buena Vista Street: candy stop, no villain named
  • Near Cars Land: candy stop, no villain named
  • World of Color Viewing Area: candy stop, no villain named

Two things stand out. Yzma is new to the event for 2026, and she shares the Grizzly Peak trail with Maleficent rather than getting her own. And five of the eleven trails sit in the Hollywood area of the park, by far the densest concentration. If you are trying to clear trails quickly, start there.

Disney has not named a villain for the three remaining trails at Buena Vista Street, near Cars Land and the World of Color Viewing Area. Treat those as straight candy stops until Disney says otherwise.

One common mix-up worth clearing up: Villains Grove is a separate attraction, not one of the eleven Treat Trails.

Villains Grove and the Three Halloween Attraction Overlays

Villains Grove takes over the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail as a walk-through scenescape inspired by Disney villains. Disney calls it "hauntingly beautiful," and it is one of the few parts of the party that is more atmospheric than scary.

Three attractions run Halloween overlays throughout the event:

  • Guardians of the Galaxy, Monsters After Dark at Avengers Campus, where Rocket races to rescue Groot
  • Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween in Cars Land, a dance party in "Radiator Screams"
  • Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree in Cars Land, a "tractor-treatin'" hoedown

Disney characters appear in Halloween costumes throughout the park alongside the villains. Theme Park IQ covered the full 2026 character lineup in a separate post.

Oogie Boogie Bash 2026 Food and Drinks

Disney's event guide lists the menu items but no prices. Here is what the party's featured food and drinks actually cost.

  • Spicy Oogie Boogie Burrito, $15.49 at Studio Catering Co.: carne asada, fries, guacamole, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, crunchy hot cheese-flavored snacks and spicy crema in a green tortilla
  • Vietnamese Coffee with Ube Sweet Cream Foam, $7.99 at Cozy Cone Motel 1 (Churros): iced Vietnamese coffee topped with ube sweet cream foam and black sprinkles

  • Haunted Highway Cocktail, $20.00 at Cozy Cone Motel 4 (Frozen Cone-coctions): pineapple lemonade with Blue Curacao, Apple Pucker and Sprite, topped with grenadine and gummy worms. Guests 21 and older, and the menu labels it "Available during Event Only," making it a true event exclusive

All food, beverage and merchandise offerings are subject to availability and only available while supplies last.

  • Gone Hollywood

The standout novelty is the Headless Horseman Light-Up Bucket at $32.25, sold at popcorn carts throughout Disney California Adventure. As always, everything is available while supplies last.

Magic Key Holders Get Their Own Treat Trail

An important clarification first, because this is a common misunderstanding: a Magic Key does not get you into Oogie Boogie Bash. These perks are only for Magic Key holders who also buy a separately ticketed event ticket.

  • Magic Key Treat Trail at Silly Symphony Swings, open during event hours from 6:00 to 11:00 PM. It includes a candy pickup, a photo opportunity and a commemorative Magic Key bag with The Emperor's New Groove stickers. There is no extra cost beyond the event ticket.
  • Magic Key merchandise, including a Magic Key T-shirt and a Magic Key pin themed to Oogie Boogie Bash, at select retail locations. Sold separately.

Two upgrades are available on top of the event ticket, and Disney has not published a price for either one.

Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party

Treats and beverages plus reserved seating in the preferred viewing area for Madame Leota's Swinging Wake. An event ticket is required and is not included in the dessert party price.

The VIP Tour returns starting Sunday, August 30, 2026. Booking is by phone at (714) 300-7710 or by email at disneylandviptours@disney.com. Guests under 18 need parent or guardian permission to call. It includes:

Ages 14 and older
