Military Band Performances

A Disneyland tradition dating back to the park’s 1955 opening, military musicians return throughout the holiday week. The 2026 lineup features the California Army National Guard 40th Infantry Division Band, the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West, the U.S. Army Field Band Jazz Ambassadors, and the 1st Marine Division Band and its ensembles. You’ll catch parade marches down Main Street, U.S.A., stage sets at the Hollywood Backlot Stage, and more across both parks and Downtown Disney.

Tips for Visiting Disneyland on the 4th of July

  • Arrive early for fireworks. The hub in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle is the most popular viewing spot for “Disney’s Celebrate America!” — plan to stake out a spot well ahead of the 9:35 PM start, especially on July 4.
  • Double up on nighttime shows. With World of Color at 9:00 PM in DCA and fireworks at 9:35 PM in Disneyland, park hoppers can try to catch both — but transit time between parks is tight, so pick your priority.
  • Confirm times in the app. Holiday entertainment schedules can shift. The Disneyland app’s daily Times Guide is the source of truth on the day of your visit.
  • Bonus for America 250: The new “Soarin’ Across America” experience debuts at Disney California Adventure on July 2, 2026 — a fitting addition to your holiday-weekend itinerary.
