The CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort returns on Sunday, August 2, 2026, and Theme Park IQ is back on the route for a second decade of walking — this time chasing a $3,000 fundraising goal for Rady Children's Health, formerly CHOC. Every dollar raised supports pediatric health care, education, and research for the more than two million kids who depend on Rady's each year.

A Decade of Walking for Kids' Health

Theme Park IQ has supported CHOC Walk for more than ten years. We keep coming back because of the impact this single morning has on Southern California families. Rady Children's Health Orange County — the hospital network formerly known as CHOC — is the kind of place no parent ever wants to need, and the kind of place every parent is grateful exists when they do.

CHOC Walk is also one of the most special mornings you can spend at the Disneyland Resort. Walkers get an early-morning stroll through Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park before the gates open to the public, with special entertainment, character appearances, and surprises along the 5K route. It's a side of the parks most guests never see.

Where Your Donation Goes

Every dollar raised at CHOC Walk funds pediatric health care, medical education, and research at Rady Children's. More than two million kids a year rely on Rady's for everything from routine well-visits to life-saving treatment, and community donations are what keep that care accessible to every family — regardless of ability to pay.
