Disney just hit the calendar's "Halfway to the Holidays" mark on June 25, and right on cue, the company dropped a first wave of 2026 holiday merchandise heading to Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World, and Disney Store. If a peppermint hoodie in June feels aggressive — well, that's kind of the point. These previews exist to get wish lists started early, and they double as the unofficial starting gun for holiday-season planning.

Here's the ThemeParkIQ angle before we get into the goods: this is a preview, not a release. None of it is on shelves yet. Realistically, you'll start seeing these items when the holiday seasons begin — November 18, 2026 at the Disneyland Resort (the same day Festival of Holidays returns to Disney California Adventure) and November 13, 2026 at Walt Disney World. Select pieces will land on DisneyStore.com, usually with a choice of Disneyland or Walt Disney World logo — which matters if you're a local who wants the right park's mark on your sweatshirt.

Let's walk through what was revealed.

Festive Apparel

The apparel wave leans cozy, which is exactly right for a Disneyland evening when the sun drops and that "I'll just buy a sweatshirt" plan quietly kicks in. Three pieces stood out: a Peppermint Pullover Hoodie with a clean candy-stripe motif, a Holiday Lights Zip-Up Hoodie with string-light and Santa-hat artwork running front and back, and a Holiday Crewneck featuring a wraparound snow scene with Mickey and friends.

Local tip: the wraparound-print crewnecks and full-graphic hoodies have historically been the first apparel pieces to sell through, and the parks don't always restock a given design before the season ends. If one of these is on your list, treat the first few weeks of the season as your window — or grab the logo-flexible version online.

Jewelry and Accessories

This is where the detail-oriented park-day crowd will want to look. Disney showed off Snowflake Mickey Mouse Earrings, a coordinating Holiday Earring Set, and standalone Holiday Earrings for building an ear stack, plus a standout Gingerbread Earrings and Bracelet set with dangling gingerbread "cookies" wearing their own Mickey ear hats, accented by candy cane, snowflake, and ornament charms.

On the accessory side: a Candy Cane Ear Headband in the classic red-and-green, a Holiday Lights Baseball Hat carrying the park logo and a strand of bulbs, and a Mickey Mouse and Family Christmas Tote for hauling your hauls. Disney also confirmed the Create Your Own Headband station will add festive Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger plush toppers — a fun one for families who like to mix and match.

Ornaments and Home Decor

Ornaments are perennially one of the strongest holiday categories, and Disney teased a mix of character ornaments, traditional palettes, and nostalgic motifs for 2026. If you're the type who buys one commemorative ornament per visit, this is your category to watch.

Beyond the tree, there's a Mickey Mouse and Family Christmas Throw showing the gang enjoying park festivities — the kind of soft-goods item that photographs well and tends to move quickly as a gift.

Bag Charms, Pins, and Souvenirs

Bag charms have quietly become one of Disney's hottest accessory categories, and the holiday lineup plays right into it with a Toy Soldier Mickey charm and a Disney Holiday Headband charm. There's also a set of Holiday Magnets (Disney's wink about cruise-ship doors is aimed squarely at DCL stateroom decorators), a Santa Mickey Mouse Window Cling, and — for the pin community — a Disney Hanukkah Trading Pin as the first look at a broader Hanukkah Collection coming later this season. Good to see the Festival of Lights getting an expanding collection rather than a single token piece.

The Pastel Holiday Collection

The reveal that'll probably generate the most chatter is the Pastel Holiday Collection, trading the usual red-and-green for soft pink and green. Disney showed Pastel Holiday Spirit Jerseys, a matching Pastel Holiday Baseball Hat, and a Mickey-wreath Pastel Holiday Bag Charm.

ThemeParkIQ read: pastel and "non-traditional colorway" collections have a track record of becoming quick sellouts and resale targets, spirit jerseys especially. The full collection hasn't been revealed yet, so if this palette is your thing, watch for the complete drop and plan to move early.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Merch

For the Walt Disney World crowd, Disney shared the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Bag Charm — a mini Mickey plush tied to the separately ticketed after-hours event at Magic Kingdom, with the full event-exclusive assortment coming later.

Worth clarifying for Disneyland locals: there's no direct West Coast equivalent here. Disneyland doesn't run a separate hard-ticket Christmas party — the resort's holiday magic is built into regular admission through Festival of Holidays at DCA, holiday ride overlays, and seasonal entertainment. So this particular bag charm is a Florida-only keepsake.

Our take on this announcement

Nothing's for sale yet. This is a wish-list builder tied to Disney's Halfway to the Holidays moment. Shelves fill in mid-November.

Online vs. in-park matters. Logo-flexible items on DisneyStore.com let you pick your park; in-park exclusives won't.

Move early on the hype pieces. Spirit jerseys (especially the pastels), wraparound apparel, and limited collections historically sell through fastest.

Magic Key holders: holiday merch is one more reason the first couple of weeks of the season are worth a trip — and the multicultural Festival of Holidays at DCA opens the very same day, November 18.

We'll be tracking the full collection reveals — including the complete Pastel Holiday and Disney Hanukkah collections — as they roll out. Bookmark ThemeParkIQ for the rest of the season's drops.
